MCDONALD’S revamped its menu on Wednesday, reintroducing several fan favourites.
Alongside these returning items, the chain launched a new limited-edition drink and brought back its popular Biscoff Frappe, which first debuted last year.
The fast-food giant has replaced its Strawberry Frozen Lemonade with a new Frozen Cherry Lemonade.
Priced at £2.99, the drink is described as a tangy frozen lemonade blended with a delightfully sweet cherry-flavoured swirl.
However, customers have been divided, taking to social media to share their opinions on the drink.
One person said on Facebook: “I had it yesterday and it was vile.
“It reminded me of medicine.
“I loved the strawberry one though, bring that back.”
Another said: “No thanks, gutted the strawberry lemonade was taken off.”
A third customer said: “I’m not a fan it is sour and not nice.”
However, not every customer is unhappy with the drink.
One person said: “Best thing for the summer this drink is.”
Another added: “Had one yesterday, it reminded of a sherbet sweet but it was nice.
“Would be lovely and refreshing on a hot day”
It is not uncommon for the fast-food giant to shake up what is sold across its 1,300 UK restaurants to make way for new items.
Menus are often updated every few months or in line with certain events such as Easter or Christmas.
And just because an item is discontinued does not mean it is gone for good.

McDonald’s has brought back back the highly-anticipated Biscoff McFlurry and Biscoff Frappe.
A regular tub of the new McFlurry will cost £2.29, while a smaller one comes in at £1.69.
And the Biscoff Frappe – a vanilla flavour base blended with ice and biscuit crumb, topped with caramel cream and more biscuit bits – costs £3.09.
On the savoury side, McDonald’s has brought back the McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot burger and the Steakhouse Stack, both priced at £5.99.
The McSpicy features a hot and crispy chicken breast, paired with lettuce, jalapeños, onions, cheese, and Frank’s RedHot Mayo, all served in a toasted sesame seed bun. It’s also available as a meal for £7.99.
Meanwhile, the Steakhouse Stack boasts two juicy beef patties, cheddar cheese, crispy and red onions, fresh lettuce, and a rich black peppercorn sauce, all tucked into a glazed sesame bun.
