A LOTTERY winner has revealed how he believed he’d won just £7.20 after matching two numbers – before finding a hidden code.
David Long and Kathleen MacKenzie landed £1million on the EuroMillions back in 2013.

But incredibly the couple scooped another £1m along with a dream car after securing a winning ticket in the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw just two years later.
It could have all been so different for David, though, who told of how he nearly missed out on the huge prize.
He said: “On one line I’d matched two numbers and one star to get £7.20 and thought that’s alright.
“Then I checked the raffle codes – something I’ve learnt to do automatically since winning last time.
“After a few moments I very calmly called Kath in and said: ‘Have a look at this. It’s there. Look. Read that line.'”
Kath then checked the TV, turned on her laptop and checked the National Lottery website.
After what seemed like an age to David, she shouted: “You said you’d do it again and you have!”
The couple said everything has been a “blur” since finding out about their win.
Describing his decision to buy a ticket, David said: “I always knew I’d win, even the first time.
“I just had a feeling it was going to be me. Last time I knew I had a good chance because there were 100 prizes of £1m.
“Last Friday night I was passing the local shop and saw there were ten £1m prizes on EuroMillions and a nice car and thought ‘yeah I’ll give that a go’.”
The couple are now planning a big celebration party with friends and family.
Despite not being a fan of flying, David has promised his wife a deam cruise – having avoided a honeymoon for the same reason.
He added: “Kath and I had a fantastic wedding last year but we never took a honeymoon because I’m just not keen on the idea of flying.
“Kath would love me to book an amazing cruise and I think I have just run out of excuses!”
On top of the money, David and Kath have also secured a dream car as part of their win.
They are currently in the process of choosing from a list of motors, but say they have narrowed it down to “either a Range Rover Autobiography or a Jaguar F-Type”.
