BARGAIN obsessed shoppers are going wild after snapping up a folding table from B&M for a fraction of what it usually retails for.

One eagle-eyed shopper could not believe their luck after they discovered a useful folding table was on the market at such a discounted price.

The handy table is on offer
The bargain lover was quick to share her savings online

The large Tromso folding table usually fetches a high price but one savvy shopper managed to secure the furniture item for just £1.

A post in the B&M and all Bargains, Discounts, and Glitches Facebook page read: “I saw a couple of folding tables with the furniture and got out my B&M app to scan.  I was extremely surprised to see that £35 was down to £25, good I thought for the size.

“My scanner read £1. Two Tromso large folding tables, dark wood top and black tubular legs. Total cost £2,” it continued.

Fans were quick to chime in and praise the shopper on their saving.

“Well done, great bargain,” one comment read.

“I would like one of those,” said another bargain lover.

The Tromso tables are very on trend featuring dark wood and a stylish black metal base.

The product remains in stock on the B&M website and in some physical stores.

You can check where your nearest B&M store is by visiting https://www.bmstores.co.uk/stores

B&M Bargains is a popular retailer amongst shoppers due to its affordable prices and quirky finds.

Not only does it sell a range of furniture and homewares but also snacks and toiletries.

Shoppers were sent on a trip down memory lane after Horlicks Original Tablets were recently spotted on the shelves of the popular discount store.

B&M has stocked the product, which was originally used to boost energy levels, since last December.

The chewable tablets are still available to buy across B&M stores and were relaunched as part of a 150th anniversary of the brand.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

How to save money at B&M

Shoppers have saved thousands of pounds using B&M’s free barcode scanner.

The tool allows them to discover discounted items before the staff have even reduced them.

It works by letting you see if a product is actually cheaper than what is advertised on the shelf.

Products are often marked down significantly to clear stock, so if you have specific product in mind its best to call ahead to avoid a wasted trip

The hack is useful, especially as cost of living pressures continue to impact Brits.

To access the tool you will need to download the B&M app onto your Apple or Android device.

Once you’ve got the app, click on the “scan” button at the bottom of your homepage.

This will then bring up the camera on your smartphone, which you’ll need to use to scan barcodes.

Helpful tools can be found on the ‘B&M scanner and other bargains‘ Facebook page.
